I was thinking that I would wait and post this when I have a more substantial list, but I decided that then I might never do it. So here are just a few of the things I'm learning:
1. There is always a reason to sing.
2. Family first. No matter what.
3. Never waste anything. There is always someone who wants what you do not.
4. There is plenty of time to work. Take time to visit with your friends.
5. Being kind to a stranger doesn't cost you anything.
....there are plenty of stories behind these lessons. This is the life that I see lived out in Haiti each and every day.
While we in the U.S. think that we have so much knowledge, we would do well to take some lessons from the people here.
